ChatGPT users can now turn photos, ideas, and inside jokes into custom sticker packs for iMessage and WhatsApp.
OpenAI launched the feature on August 24, 2026. It is available globally for free on the mobile ChatGPT app. Users can create packs of up to nine stickers and choose from about 18 different styles, including 3D, anime, holographic, hand-drawn, and comic-book looks.
To get started, open the Images section in the ChatGPT sidebar and select Stickers. Users can upload one or more photos from their library or simply describe what they want. ChatGPT can turn the images into stickers, remix them, add or remove elements, and apply different styles. It also supports transparent backgrounds.
Once the stickers are ready, users can tap “Add to chat apps.” The options are iMessage, WhatsApp, or Save to Photos. WhatsApp requires at least three stickers in a pack because of Meta’s rules. iMessage allows single stickers or full packs.
The feature is powered by ChatGPT Images 2.0. It makes it easy to create personal stickers of pets, friends, family, reactions, or private jokes and share them directly in everyday chats.
